FAQs

What is nutritional therapy?

The mission of the Nutritional Therapy Association is “To deliver a science-based education that fosters a community of confident holistic nutrition professionals who harness the power of real food and empower people to reconnect with the innate wisdom and unique needs of their bodies, thereby supporting lasting wellness.”

How do I start working with you?

All clients start with a free discovery call so we can talk about your challenges and goals, discuss the best options for you, and see if we are the right fit. From there, we will get you set up in the program that matches your needs, create a schedule that works for both of us, and I will share any initial paperwork via email. Then… the healing begins!

How do nutrition and herbalism correlate?

Nutritional therapy is ultimately about supporting the body through diet and lifestyle. You’ve probably heard the saying “Food is medicine!” And it’s right. Did you know that herbal tea is the 2nd most ancient way of consuming medicine next to grazing!?

To recap: Herbs are medicinal food and nutrition is healing through food.

I’m not quite sure which program is right for me.

That’s totally understandable! Feel free to book a complimentary discovery call so we can meet, talk about your challenges and goals, and discuss the best options for you!

What can I expect from working with you?

My main goal when working with clients is to give them tools and education around food, herbs, and lifestyle that they can use not only during our time together to help correct their foundational imbalances but for the rest of their lives. I want them to feel better and walk away feeling empowered to take care of their own health, but also knowledge to help their families if necessary.
